Belgrade – a new NEUROWERK EEG was put into operation at the Institute of Neonatology.
Our distributor GALABERN installed another NEUROWERK Video EEG at the Institute of Neonatology in Belgrade in December last year. The local doctors have been satisfied users of the EEG systems for 12 years. Above all, they are enthusiastic about the excellent quality and intuitive usability of our devices.
The Institute of Neonatology has been successfully treating the smallest of all patients since 1995. The clinic in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, is the only one in the country that specializes in the needs of newborns and young children. For this important work, the institute bought the first EEG from Germany in 2008, at that time still the SIGMA PLpro video EEG. The same is still in use today and was supplemented by a second NEUROWERK EEG in 2010. Due to the high demand, the Institute of Neonatology has now added another NEUROWERK Video EEG to the technology equipment according to the latest standards.
At the end of 2020, our distributor GALABERN D.O.O. travelled to Belgrade to deliver and install the new NEUROWERK EEG with numerous accessories such as the photo stimulator F40 and the full HD video extension. Photo stimulation is a proven provocation method of the EEG and is mainly used to help diagnose epileptic diseases. The full HD video extension supports the monitoring of the patient during the EEG. Due to the synchronous recording of video and EEG, artifacts or other events can be identified more easily. Thus the informative value of an EEG recording can be increased enormously. Our certified distributor has also given the responsible employees an excellent training and introduced to them the latest functions of the EEG system.
We are pleased about the positive response and the high level of satisfaction from the renowned Serbian institute. We thank them for their loyalty and trust in our NEUROWERK EEG systems.
A big thank also goes to our local partner GALABERN, who supports our Serbian customers in an excellent way. As a result, the company has already installed 40 NEUROWERK systems throughout Serbia.
