GELENAU/SOLOTONOSHA – Micromed Group wants to play a part in maintaining medical care for the population in Ukraine and has donated a NEUROWERK EEG in April.
Our position
Micromed Group is a globally operating medical technology company with 5 locations worldwide. Our close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams of experts is based on mutual appreciation and respectful interaction. We stand for a friendly and non-violent cooperation. We are therefore dismayed by the current conflict between Ukraine and Russia. We express our deepest sympathy to all those affected and would like to take a firm stand against violence and war.
Donation handover in Gelenau
We also wanted to help by making a small contribution to support the Ukrainian population in the medical care of their compatriots. Therefore we organized a donation of a NEUROWERK EEG to the polyclinic in Solotonosha (Ukraine). In April, Knut Schreiter (mayor of Gelenau), Nicolai Tscherinko (deputy mayor of the city of Nova Dmytrivka) and Lesia Shcherbii (a member of the Association of Ukraine Friends Erzgebirge) were at our German headquarters in Gelenau to pick up the donated device. Nicolai Tschererinko organized a big shipment of medical products to his home country. All devices were loaded together on a big truck in Chemnitz and then brought to the Nova Dmytrivka region. In the meantime, our NEUROWERK EEG system has safely arrived at the polyclinic and reliably supports the local doctors in neurophysiological diagnostics.
We are glad that we could contribute a small part to the maintenance of medical care and hope the war in Ukraine will be over soon.
