Micromed and the National Epilepsy Foundation Forge Partnership
Sharing a passion for supporting people of all ages living with Epilepsy.
The National Epilepsy Foundation is a US-based non-profit organization. They save lives through community services, education, access to care campaigns, research initiatives, and new therapies funding. Micromed, whose systems are used to collect EEG data used for diagnosing the condition, hopes to contribute to the foundation’s efforts.
“We sought out this partnership,” says Micromed CMO Kristen Hitner, “so we can continue our mission to help those living with Epilepsy. We are all part of the Micromed team because we know we are helping people of all ages receive a diagnosis and therefore the treatment they need.”
The partnership will include helpful and educational content about the EEG process. This will give patients and caregivers a better picture of what to expect throughout their diagnostic journey.
